Job Description

Google Cloud is hiring an experienced Database Sales Specialist Manager in Singapore to lead and grow its database solutions business. This job role is focused on expanding customer adoption of Google Cloud database products (like Cloud SQL, Spanner, AlloyDB) across enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing sales team and own a regional sales territory
  • Build and expand client relationships to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with Field Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
  • Develop go-to-market plans and achieve sales targets
  • Represent GCP database offerings to key regional accounts

Requirements

  • 12+ years in enterprise software/cloud sales
  • Team leadership or people management experience
  • Experience in database technologies and analytics solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills
  • Must have the right to work in Singapore without visa sponsorship

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams to impact business goals, customer experience, and expansion.
  • Experience with people and business management, supporting career development of a high performing sales team and business growth.
  • Experience planning and organizing go-to-market strategies, business programs, and sales activity.
  • Experience with database technologies and knowledge of Google Cloud database offerings (e.g. Cloud SQL, Spanner, AlloyDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of products, solutions, and market trends, with the ability to analyze sales performance data or market changes to drive strategic direction.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, active listening, and program management skills
