What You’ll Do
- Work closely with multiple teams to improve user experiences through data.
- Use data science techniques to help Automattic build better products.
- Run experiments and build models that guide business and product strategies.
- Support company-wide data initiatives with analysis, dashboards, and insights.
- Mentor other data professionals and bring new ideas to the table.
- Translate complex data into simple, clear insights for teams across the company.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, ideally in a tech/SaaS company.
- Strong skills in experimentation, statistics, and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in Python (especially with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Comfortable using tools like Hive, Presto, or Trino to analyze large datasets.
- Experience with big data tools (like Hadoop or Spark) is a plus.
- Great communication skills—you can explain data to anyone.
Salary & Perks
- Salary Range: $90,000 – $160,000 USD (paid in your local currency).
