Job Responsibilities
- Write clean, testable, efficient, and reusable code using best practices.
- Develop layouts & user interfaces with standard HTML/CSS practices.
- Integrate data from multiple back-end services and databases.
- Gather, analyze, and finalize design specifications based on technical needs.
- Create and maintain documentation for future reference.
- Maintain, expand, and scale websites for in-house and client projects.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Collaborate with designers to match visual design intent.
Skills Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of website development experience (exceptions for highly skilled developers).
- Hands-on experience in planning & building websites across multiple products.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, .NET, PHP, or Ruby on Rails.
- Strong knowledge of CMS like WordPress or Drupal.
- Expertise in relational databases, OOP, and web app development.
- Proficient in MySQL, SQL, NoSQL, and server environments (Windows/Linux).
- Knowledge of website security, session management, and best practices.
- Familiarity with network diagnostics & analytics tools.
- Fluency in English for clear communication.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hrs/week) with at least 4 hrs overlap with U.S. time zones.
Preferred Skills
- eCommerce website development experience.
- Understanding of modern workflows & Agile methodologies.
- Basic SEO knowledge.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
