What You’ll Be Doing
As a WordPress Developer at Rank Math, your day-to-day job will include:
- Maintaining and improving our WordPress-based website for performance, security, and UX.
- Managing and optimizing our WooCommerce setup, including payment gateway integrations.
- Making necessary updates to our custom WordPress theme and in-house plugins.
- Collaborating with designers, marketers, and other developers on new features and updates.
- Troubleshooting plugin or website issues with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Suggesting improvements and contributing to our platform’s long-term growth.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Strong WordPress development experience, including WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of PHP and adherence to WordPress coding standards.
- Experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+) — especially for Gutenberg block development.
- Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Comfortable debugging and solving performance or compatibility issues.
Bonus If You Have
- Prior experience developing custom Gutenberg blocks.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and familiarity with SEO tools or plugins.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, remote-friendly work style.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility in meeting deadlines.
