What is Argus?
Argus is Snigel’s internal data analytics and pipeline platform. It processes and analyzes massive volumes of data in real-time and batch, supporting mission-critical workflows around revenue optimization, monitoring, and billing transparency.
The Role: Senior Platform Engineer
We’re looking for a highly experienced backend engineer to take ownership of Argus and shape its future.
You will:
- Maintain and evolve a globally distributed analytics backend.
- Own and enhance our C# microservices that process, enrich, and route data.
- Manage horizontal scaling, performance tuning, and database sharding.
- Improve data ingestion, retention, and aggregation logic.
- Collaborate with DevOps and frontend teams to enable new use cases.
- Monitor system health via Prometheus and Grafana.

- Infrastructure: Kubernetes (on Digital Ocean), Jenkins
- Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana
- APIs: OpenAPI
You Bring
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience
- Expert-level skills in C# and PostgreSQL
- Solid experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployments
- Ability to own systems and make key architectural decisions
- Passion for solving high-scale, high-impact data problems
Bonus If You Have
- Experience with ClickHouse
- Prior AdTech experience
- Familiarity with monitoring/alerting systems (Prometheus + Grafana)
